I started my journey in the world at the early spring of the year 1941 from the great city of India named Kolkata.The city gave me formal education and vocational training for my survival. The cultural heritage of the city infused my love on literature and music from childhood, which I am still carrying on.At present I stay at Lucknow and associated with editing of little magazines. Mostly I write poetry in bengali, sometimes essays and short stories.A collection of my poems titled as 'Dahan' has recently been published during Kolkata Book Fair in January,2014.
